The Honda Civic is a line of compact cars, sedans and hatches manufactured by Honda. Introduced in July 1972 as a two-door model, followed by a three-door hatchback that September and a four-door sedan in January 1973. The Civic has been continuously manufactured in the U.S. since November 1982 at plants in Ohio and Indiana, with additional production facilities in Canada, China and Mexico.
